Naviance

The EHS Counseling Department uses a comprehensive program, Naviance Student, to help students plan for the future. This internet-based tool is available to help youlearn more about the career exploration and college application process. 

Through Naviance Student, you will be able to:

  • Take Career Interest Assessments and create a career interest profile;
  • Explore occupations that match your interests;
  • Search for colleges that may meet your needs;
  • Compare colleges;
  • View college costs, retention rates, graduation rates, and more;
  • Link directly to each college’s website;
  • Link directly to other college resources, such as College Board, ACT, NCAA, SUNY, FAFSA etc.;
  • Maintain a list of colleges that you are considering;
  • View a schedule of college visits to EHS;
  • Research colleges and learn about GPAs, SATs and ACTs of each college’s freshman class;
  • View graphs of former EHS applicants’ GPAs, SATs and ACTs (anonymously) and whether they were accepted or denied;
  • Start to build your own profile and resume by entering important info about YOU;
  • View scholarships and summer programs available;
  • Track application deadlines for every college;
